Description
Radiator Valve – Series 203 Plate Type | Heavy-Duty, Leak-Controlled Transformer Protection
The Series 203 Plate Type Radiator Valve is engineered for reliable isolation and flow control in transformer and radiator applications. Designed with a robust bolt-on aluminium body and metal-to-metal sealing, this valve ensures controlled leakage performance and long-term durability in demanding environments.
Built for strength and reliability, the valve features a forged steel body and undergoes 100% pressure testing to guarantee minimal leakage through the flap. With allowable leakage of less than 1cc/minute (tested with transformer oil at 1 kg/cm²), the valve provides dependable sealing performance for critical operations. For applications requiring zero leakage, O-ring sealing models (Series 213) are also available.
The valve’s strong and sturdy construction ensures maintenance-free service, while the ability to lock in both open and closed positions enhances operational safety and control. It is suitable for extreme operating conditions, performing efficiently in temperatures as low as -60°C and as high as 180°C.
Additional features include optional protective coatings in various shades and offshore-grade configurations (C5M & CX category) for harsh environmental conditions.
